Purpose And Objectives

S-CSPs have overall responsibility for the daily management of assigned cloud customer accounts. This includes account management strategies, developing and managing engagement and expansion plans, and delivery of Cloud Success Services to ensure consumptions and product adoption growth within assigned customers. The focus of this position is twofold; to maximize the ROI customers receive from their investments in SAP HXM cloud products and to promote revenue growth and renewal protection.

The S-CSP HXM role is a specialist role within the Human Experience Management domain. The S-CSP HXM role has the responsibility of being the primary point of contact for our customers’ key HR stakeholders and executive sponsors. This includes HR and IT organizations and stakeholders from multiple levels within our customers’ organizations (from HR administrators and practitioners to C-Suite). The S-CSP HXM role requires knowledge that spans from SaaS to Human Resources best practices.

Expectations And Tasks

S-CSPs enable their customers’ long-term success through multiple account management avenues. Some of the core account management practices utilized are as follows:

  • Work with customer key stakeholders and decision makers to develop their cloud strategy

and identify key KPIs to maximize the value of their SAP Cloud Solutions

  • Understand customers’ business model, priorities, objectives to develop a Cloud Governance Model and drive execution and tracking of established KPIs and value realization
  • Provide leading practice guidance and thought leadership to customers around their SAP HXM cloud solutions to drive consumption and adoption
  • Leverage Cloud Success Services teams to drive maximum value throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Develop and execute a proactive “customer first” renewal and expansion plan in conjunction with other internal SAP account team members
  • Drive commercial opportunity development (including growth and qualification of pipeline in conjunction with assigned Account Executives) and accurate forecasting of the renewal and network growth opportunities
  • Facilitate regular business reviews with customer and Account team and the broader members to confirm ongoing customer account goals, assess progress, align to value realization and strengthen relationships
  • Identify areas of commercial risk and coordinate and implement risk mitigation strategies/techniques to ensure commercial success


  • Multiple years experience managing complex customer engagements or other customer facing experience
  • Proven experience with business process transformation and re-engineering disciplines
  • Commercial experience including experience in forecasting, developing account management plans, renewals, contract negotiation, and execution
  • Experience in Human Resources / Human Experience Management strongly preferred
  • A self-starter, with energy, drive and a passion for helping customers succeed
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and executive presence with a demonstrated track record of influencing C-Suite and Customer executive stakeholders
  • Technical knowledge of SAP SuccessFactor and/or SAP Sales Commissions Management preferred
